War & Love

While I was contemplating the abhorrence of war, I realized it is the aggressive action taken when words (and reason) are not advancing a situation to a better (i.e. non-violent) resolution in the eyes of one or the other party.  In that vein, it’s much like sex. When words are no longer enough, one (or both) parties will initiate the act to get what they want; pleasure.

War is like sex in that, when words no longer satisfy, the next step is physical action for at least one party to get what they want..  Unfortunately, especially in war, the act doesn’t always satisfy, and many are hurt in the end.

The right words can often be enough, but when lesser men can’t find pleasure in reason and words…
