The Appearance of Wisdom

So, I’m at that age when I stand in front of the mirror for a minute, pulling my skin in different directions to get an idea of what a face lift would do for me. Sometimes I do it for my boobs and my butt, too. Then I think, “I could give to charity, buy cool shoes, take trips to interesting places, and have exciting experiences if I don’t worry about my aging looks.” I would miss out on quite a bit of life by putting so much time, energy and money into attempting to “perfect” and unnaturally de-age my appearance.

If you think about it, my looks are perfect. They are a reflection of my wisdom. I have experienced a lot in this lifetime, and I know it’s OK for my wisdom to show.
