Dogs can teach us a lot. I watched my dog run through water yesterday. He found his bliss chasing after birds, splashing through the shallow field irrigation. He didn’t realize that when he jumped up on the porch at full speed, his wet paws would send him sliding all the way across the concrete. He slid into the table, shook it off, and went back out for another run because he wanted to be “in joy”.
The fall isn’t important. We all fall down. It’s how quickly we can shake it off and get back to joy that matters.
